Floor Plan -Drafting

This has been such a fun class, but very time consuming it takes me about 10 + to work on an floor plan. I am getting faster but still very long. Well if you can see the photo this is one of the floor plans that I have draw. The teacher has given me dimensions and then I draw.

Home Decor

One thing I love about being an (almost) Interior designer is that my mind is endless mounds of creativity. So I have always loved violins and have always wanted to decorate with one. So while I was helping my Brother Bob move I noticed in their yard sale pile a violin. So I asked if I could take it. So I decided to hang it above my piano with some wood plaques with vinyl and paper on them.

The saying goes as follows: Dance as though no one is watching you, Love as though you have never been hurt, Sing as though no one can hear you, Live as though Heaven is on Earth.

Positive and Negative

Finally I am back to a design class. I just got done with Algebra got a B I am so proud of myself. Well now I am taking a Fundamentals for Design class it's going to teach me some basic design principles and steps. I am excited. Well here is our first design assignment Positive and Negative space. Black being positive and white being negative. More fun stuff to come!

Floor Plan #1

Here is a floor plan. I made measured out the walls and all. Made it 3-D and all too! It was a fun assignment. We are adding more to it next week!

Couch

I made this. That is right I did it! I am so impressed with myself! It is a couch!

This is the second part to the below assignment. It is just a Kitchen not the outside of a house!

Google SketchUp

This one was done in Google Sketch Up 7 and Photo Shop. Now I wish I could take the credit for doing the house on here, but I can't. The assignment was to change the house into a sketch or a colored design in four different views, and ways. It was 3D. Very fun. Google Sketch Up7 is the new program we are learning is it a 3D program. It looks like fun. I hope to learn all of this fun stuff!
